Last updated June 16, 2026
By using Pile, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Pile is a to-do app for capturing, organizing, and completing tasks. The service is currently offered free of charge. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as it evolves.
Your account
You are responsible for your account, your password, and activity under your session. Keep your credentials safe and tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Your content
Your tasks, notes, projects, tags, comments, and support messages remain yours. You give Pile permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to provide and maintain the service.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Pile for illegal, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activity.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security for the service.
- Do not upload content that infringes someone else’s rights.
Availability and warranty
We work to keep Pile reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Pile is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pile and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as Pile grows. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice when appropriate.
